This video introduces finite element cyclic symmetry modeling using Ansys Workbench Mechanical. Learn how to efficiently simulate repetitive structures by leveraging cyclic symmetry analysis techniques. We demonstrate the setup using a single-sector geometry, first in a static cyclic symmetry analysis and then in a cyclic symmetry modal analysis. The symmetry branch is employed to simplify the model while preserving accurate physics-based behavior. Finally, we review the solutions and discuss key results.
