During the 1976 Teton Dam flood, as the water rises, Florence and Harold Forbush escaped on a boat that was urging them to get to safety. They broke out the back window to get in the boat and then floated passed a dentist office, where they got out in water up to their knees and headed to the 4th ward church building.
