Paying Tribute to our Chinese Ancestors

We went to the graves paying tribute to our Chinese ancestors (my husband's forefathers). This is a tradition that can be found in many areas in China, but there are probably differences in how it's done and also when. We offered food, added soil, burned money and bowed down to show our respect and to commemorate the ancestors - throughout the video, my parents-in-law explain the meaning of what we do.

This was the first time Sansan went, so it was a little special. After the ceremony at the graveyard, we went to an uncle's house for a little feast and celebration.
